My son replaced his rear Pirellis with PS2s at 6600 miles. The car's been with us since last August, and with about 13.5k on the clock the Michelins appear to have at least a couple of thousand miles left. Perhaps more.

Nothing to brag about.

When he gets back from Afghanistan next month he plans a multi-week road trip around the country, and I'm quite sure that somewhere in that time frame a set of Pilot Super Sports will get mounted.

Michelin claims more tread life from these new sneakers, but I can't imagine anything like 15-20k from them.

It's just too much fun to bang the loud pedal and watch the scenery get all blurry - especially now with the software upgrade.
