Love the front end! I think the backend looks kinda funky cause of the small wheels.

The wheels overall look small, but i'm pretty sure they'll offer options.

good lord that looks so aggressive. perfect for the coupe.

I really want a sedan...but unless they apply that design to the 335 sedan, I may have to go with the coupe.

check out the new pictures of the supposed E90M. You might find it more interesting than the current E90 - http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12848

The new 3-series has grown on both length and is wider and this looks a little bit bigger than the present coupé. Almost a bit sexier lines. The 3-series has it's 30 year anniversery this year and this coupé was a succes for BMW so it's obvious they're going to keep on doing it. And the cab is also based on the coupé. Some signs that indicates it really is the top of the line version M3 is the exhaust and it has a wider body which is the widest setting of the chassie going around here and last but not least the sound which resembles to a V8. When is it coming out then? According to our calculations it should be here this summer."
Something like that my English isnt the best but you get the idea!!

Eh. It's still kind of hard to get a real good idea of what it will look like.

And I'm just flat out not in the market for an M3. It's way too impractical of a car. My e90/e92 will be my every-day car, and I just can't have the M3 eating up all that gas daily.

That and from all reports, the new M3 will be WAY outta my price range.

Scanned a better picture from Autocar. Looking at the photo in person you can definitely tell the lights are not photoshopped, it's the real deal... and it looks damn good to my eye

Actually, it technically is the 4-series, it just will have a 3-series badge. The original concept for the "4-series coupe" was the basis for the final design of this car (or atleast the "turbo" version). That is why its more sporty than the previous 3-series coupes. in the end they decided they could not market it as a 4-series because there was too much value in the M3. I suspect BMW is moving this direction though. Now that they have a Z4M, M5, and M6, they are devaluing the individual "M3" trademark in favor of the multiple "M Models". Leading it to be much easier to introduce a 4-series with M4 next generation and leave the M3 to only being the sedan.

What I am concerned about is that lately we have only seen screenshots of the dual exhaust (one on each side) which the community has coined the turbo. Older spy shots indicate that some of the cars had the single (dual chamber) exhaust on the left side. What happen to this car, (which I assume is the non-turbo), and does it have a slightly less sporty body? I hope not, but I fear its possible.

Don´t worry, body pressing tools are incredibly expensive. No manufacturer would invest in two different sets just to differentiate a different engine. At best, some molded plastic parts (bumpers) would be different. But even that is unlikely with BMW. BMW usually only differentiates the M-models visibly. (Little details such as a chrom strip here and a different exhaust theres excepted)
