Thinking of buying a used X2 that happens to have the 20" wheels. Would prefer 19" for the ride and tire choices, but the car has 20" and I want one right now.

I live in Cleveland and I am sick of swapping tires / wheels, and have moved to all-weather tires with the snowflake symbol.

Are there ANY options other than summer tires for this size??! Perhaps 245x35 — seems to be some options there but 20mm wider. Tire rack oks this size for winter tires on these rims. Thinking of continental extremecontact DWS 06 245/35ZR20

I would definitely have separate wheels and tires. You can’t trust anybody these days to change tires these days without gnawing up your rims. I’d hate to have to do that over and over again, back and forth twice a year, etc.

My bad, I see what you’re saying now. One tire for the whole year..
Myself, I wouldn’t compromise. Snows in winter cause they’re so good, on separate wheels. Definitely be sure to keep outside tire diameter the same and I’d think you’d be fine.

Thanks. Did the two set of tires + rims thing for years and just got sick of it.

Thinking of 235/40 tires now.
