Nice, do you have a shot straight along the side of the car to show how flush the rims are to the fender? I have my eyes on some 8.5 ET35 so that would confirm my fittment

Cool, thanks. I'll probably get those for the winter setup. Summer wheels will have the right width and offset without spacers.
I'm also looking at the H&R DRA spacers (I have them on my e46 and much prefer them). But they don't make them for Mini. They have 5x112 CB 66.5 for Audi though. That could work with maybe small modification. |

Sounds good. If the H&R spacers are 5x112 and CB 66.5, then they should fit the F48, no probs, even if they're for AUDI, unless the holes are misaligned.

The Mini/F48 is sometimes listed as 66.6 or even 66.7 center bore. That has me slightly worried but I can get them shaved if I have to.
I love the DRA type as it doesn't require longer bolts (the spacer bolts onto the hub and the wheels bolt onto the spacer) Last edited by mr_lab_rat; 09-18-2017 at 06:03 PM.. |

A quick update on the Audi DRA spacers. They won't work because the bolt thread pitch is different (M14x1.5 vs M14x1.25). Technically I could get them, modify my BMW bolts (shave heads) and use them to secure the spacer to the hub. Then use Audi bolts to secure the wheel to the spacer.
Looks like too much work while still facing potential hub bore issues. ECS tuning has hubcentric spacers specifically for the Mini and F48. |

Bummers about the H&R ones. ECS ones for the Mini and F48 fit well and has performed flawlessly thus far.

Anyone with updates or headsup re: the H&R DRA 20mm spacers? Definitely getting spacers this Spring and hoping not to have too many diff sets of bolts around... the hub-centric spacers by ECS would require longer bolts, correct?
Thanks! Fred |

I just ordered these spacers in the exact same spec 15mm F, 20mm R... how are you liking them? Have you noticed any drastic changes in handling? Thanks!

I like the ECS Spacers . I now run 15F and 15R. When I was running 20R, there were no drastic changes that I could discern for every day driving, but there was more understeer at 7/10 during cornering; however, when I went to 15R, cornering was a bit more neutral and less understeering than the prior set up. Despite this, the car was more stable in the corners with either set ups due to the wider stance, I suppose.
