8.5” ET35 is about 18mm of offset from OEM specs, meaning these wheels face will extend an extra 18mm from OEM. Max spacer size for the X1 front wheels is about 12-15mm for the OEM wheel to be flush with the fender line.

So are these front wheels extending over the fender line - as in poke- and if so then how much of poke is there?

Actually the difference from stock is almost 29mm.
The stock wheel is 7.5" with ET51. The difference in offset is 16mm plus you have to add half of the width difference (so half inch in this case).

I measured the distance from the stock rim edge to flush fit and it was 27mm front 33mm rear.

So by this math the front wheels would be pretty flush but I wouldn't run anything wider than 235 to avoid looking like a monster truck

I'm using the 19" OEM wheel offsets.
