EB really lifts M Sport cars, I reckon.

Enjoy a gentle roam around Europe before shipping it home to the States

In the future, I really hope BMW adds Sport seats as a stand-alone option for customers around the world (without being forced to pay for M Sport).
For those who want to know
Did your Sport seats come with full electrics as standard

Yes, mine came with fully electric seats with 2-position memory. I think the only part that's manual is the extendable thigh support.

If they were just a little softer and a little wider they'd approach Volvo seat comfort (Volvo sets the high water mark for comfortable car seats IMHO).

ShinySteelRobot, nice to hear that you are satisfied with sport seats. I tried them in a 2 series bmw and at first they seemed a little narrow. I didn't order x-line nor sport-line package but I chose my own setup with sport seats non electric and with "race" cloth.

That's a beautiful car, ShinySteelRobot. Congrats. Your M Sport 19" look much better than the awful 19" wheel available for xLine/Sport.

It's such a shame the M Sport steering wheel isn't available as an individual option here in the UK as it is in other European countries.

Very nice!

What kind of wheels are those, and what size? In the USA we don't have an option for those type of wheels.

We have a winner

I also saw in an earleir thread that people can not order the car without runflats, i ordered Non-RFL winter tyres on my X1

And u probably can not see it very well but i also got 2 bigger tailpipes (90mm) instead of one. This is the 18d Sdrive High Executive... I will look for a better picture.

I also ordered leather sport seats and a M-steering wheel, those are stand alone options here

Absolutely gorgeous! Wish we could get the sport seats here in the US...and the paddle shifters! This will be my first BMW without sport seats.

Hey, Remmm congrats really nice car - can I just ask how you got the larger 90mm tail pipes? Is that an option in your country? And was it difficult ordering non-RFTs - if that's possible I might see if I can change my tyres too.

Thanks a lot. It is amazing so far.

Mineral white, black sensaTec with black high gloss trim with pearl chrome accent.

The lighting and camera makes the interior look a bit more grey than black for some reason. It is very black with the naked eye though.
Did you manage to fix the hood? I opened mine yesterday and when I tried closing it, I got exactly the same issue. After several tries, and pushing it hard, I have managed to close it properly - I am wondering if I have to take it back to the dealer to check.

As with the F20, you have to basically drop or push the hood (bonnet) the last 30cm.
It is because it has the two latches. (with load stops), so don't be afraid.
It is part of the lock down when closed (in case of collisions)

I took my car back to the dealer yesterday and they fixed the issue. As I had previously stated I adjusted everywhere I felt comfortable. I was not willing to remove the hood and/or shim the actual latches themselves because it is a brand new car. If I had to pay someone to fix the issue then I would have done it myself.

I think the guy who did the quality check on our cars may have been hungover or the computer needs a calibration.

Thanks for the compliments....

The dealer took the car to a specialist and orderd a new skirt with 2 holes. They made a new muffler with the 2 bigger pipes, so they are both functional. If the pictures come online i will share them with you or u can look at their website, it is in dutch but it has a lot of pictures

http://pmperformance.nl/bmw.html

It was not a option from the factory but my dealer is very helpfull. In The Netherlands more owners want a better looking backend

The Non-RFT's where not a problem, they wanted to put my winter wheels on 18" rims, they where also nice but i love the 19" (573's). So they put 19" winter wheels on and in the summer they change them for summerwheels with RFT's. On the same rims (hope they don't break it (changing wheels 2 times a year?)

It also came with a set in the trunk to inflate the non-RFT's with foam and stuff. BMW probably don't want to sell non-RFT's because they don't want to see broken BMW's on the side of the road. My wife has a brandnew Mini Cooper (3weeks old) and she could also choose non-RFT's.

I hope my english is good enough to read?

Really stupid that u can not choose for sport seats in an X-line. I was wondering why so many of u don't have that but now i know.

@Nickrice, i have the same with the hood, i really have to throw it... and the same with the backdoor, if it drops it won't close good, i have to throw it in the lock?

My cars hood would lock just fine. My issue was that the hood was misaligned enough to where it was easily noticeable.

I wish I could have chosen sport seats in our X-Line as well. But to be honest the standard seats are easier to exit and enter the vehicle. Very cool looking exhaust btw.

First 100 mile round trip

Was able to take some pictures today due to a gap in the rain! It's looking a little bit grubby from a 100 mile trip on mainly B roads and haven't had time to do even a quick clean.
Overall, very impressed. The ride is firm in Comfort mode (even with EDC) but certainly not uncomfortable (bearing in mind my previous car was French). Very smooth gear changes and so much low down pulling power (below 3000 rpm of course).
It is such a relaxed, easy car to drive and I can't wait to get it run in and give Sport mode a try.
IMO the HUD is worth every penny. The display shows Speed Limit but not the 'No overtaking' signs etc. so it is only what the Sat Nav tells it but I think good enough, I don't have any DA packages.
My only negative is the remote / stop start button set up.
I unlock the car with the remote and then remember to put it straight in my pocket. Otherwise I keep leaving it in the car when I get out and have to go back and retrieve it to lock the car. Just need to get into a new habit.

Very Nice car bluezed, i see u have a xline with sport seats as well wish mine was a 25d but because of tax on the amount of co2 here it is much more expensive (to buy and to own) the 18d will do fine as well but I can imagine how the power must feel of the 25d enjoy the ride
