Coding for wipers, parking break and upgrade

Hi, anyone knows if the AUTO wipers button can be coded to always be on?

Also I'm looking for a way to parking breaks automatically on when the engines go off and nothing yet.

I've found a guy in YT that upgrade F30 I-Step and get the CarPlay fullscreen. Due my still limited knowledge in coding I'll study a little bit more but this give me hope!

Any contribution or help will be very appreciated!

You will find out more information about Carplay coding on some thread on this forum.

Kubax86 from Bimmer remote coding is the guy you might want to ask. He did the coding on my f48.

I was hoping that I can make the coding on my own.

Although, the auto wipers and the parking break are more urgent codings for now.

CarPlay you can only code yourself if you have OEM FSC which costs around 250USD or buy the tool to generete feature installer codes which costs 3000 USD.
Or pay a coder around 80-125$ for CarPlay.

Wiper and Parking brake I haven’t found a FDL-value for. You could try poking around in all the values of the BDC Ecu (aka bimmercode expert mode)

Edit: you could try C_FUNCTION_AUTOP_aktiv in DSC ECU, don’t know what it does though.

There is also a mention of autoP in SAS ecu:
LDM_variante_feststellbremse

Do you have an AUTO-H switch? When COVID came…and there were long lines for services (aka drive thru pickup)…that was the only time I found any use for it. When it was activated, when I came to a stop and turned the engine off…the parking B R A K E (red LED would illuminate indicating the parking brake was activated) would always turn on & would still be on at the next start up.

EDIT: never mind…just read a thread below that mentions that the X1 didn’t get AUTO-H (auto-hold).

Not sure What auto hold is but mine stays put on a incline without touching the brake. 2018 F48 18dX Aisin automatic that is.

What you describe sound like BMWs "incline drive-off assist" which supports driving off comfortably on inclines without applying the parking brake. Your BMW continues to hold the vehicle in standstill position for a short time after the brake is released and reduces the brake pressure evenly when driving off, as soon as the engine torque is sufficient for driving off. See info below from owners manual &info below the parking brake/Auto-H info that shows the incline drive off assist using an e60 5 series in the illustration.

Auto-H is a feature that will initiate the brakes when you come to a stop and you can lift your foot off the accelerator. You don't need to be on an incline. When you need to move forward again, simply press on the gas pedal and the brakes are released and you can move forward.

Some owners use it all the time...I never found a use for it until COVID when standing in line for long length of time was common. It made crawling in a drive-thru line tolerable in that you could let off the brake pedal...then creep forward when needed. And it also worked well with ASS (another feature I didn't like and turned off). If you had Auto-H and ASS activated, not only would the car brake...the engine would also shut down as you sat in a long line. To move forward, simply press on the accelerator and the engine would start, and the brakes would release as you creeped forward in line. When you came to another stop...the car would brake, and the engine would shut down.
