Hmm I don't think I've seen that tray table in any other photos of the X1. Does anyone know anything more about it? Is that a standard BMW accessory? Or is it exclusive to the X1? Or maybe exclusive to China?

It's a £145 option here in the UK (code is 4UV). Looks gimmicky to be honest. It's an unnecessary big lump of hard plastic IMO.

New photos. Looks like Alpine White (non-metallic) Sport trim. Leather seats, halogen lights, black mirror caps.

Also Chestnut Bronze xLine with standard electric seats.

Is the last pic of the interior really from the X1?

Never seen the 4-part instrument cluster before in the X1, or is it some option?

Also there is a mechanical handbrake, looks to me like this is from another car, looks pretty close to my F32.

I like the new 2016 x1 overall but at certain angles, it looks like a Hyundai Santa Fe or typical Ford design... Anyone feels that way?

I don't think it looks like any of those. It looks like it has X5 and X3 DNA in it, which isn't bad to begin with.

That is a beautiful colour. It would've been my first choice if I lived somewhere sunny! I went for Platinum Silver, as I am way way way too lazy to wash my car every damn week and the rain/mud don't show up as much with lighter colours.

Mineralgrau is top of my list at the moment. And those wheels also. But they looked very familiar to me and I felt like I've liked them before…like on another car, but could it be possible? And then this morning I saw a Focus ST with wheels that are almost identical! Not that it puts me off one bit
