what have you added to your X1
I have the following on order (well will have when I get a reply from Mr BMW)
1). Front and rear mud flaps 2). a set of winter wheels and tyres 3). a rubber boot mat all from BMW my car is a 18d xDrive Sport, fitted with leather seats, folding mirrors, sports auto gearbox, plus a few cosmetic "odds and sods" I bought the car used at under 4,000 miles and it was a BMW staff car - the car is just like new. What has surprised me is that it does not have auto lights |

I haven't really added much to mine in the 3 years that I've owned it, apart from the BMW rubber boot mat, BMW rear rubber floor mats and I fitted a dashcam that's just plugged into the "hidden" 12v outlet in the passenger (UK) footwell. I did think about upgrading the door speakers at some point as I only have the basic audio system, but still haven't got around to it...

1. Dash cam
2. Front and rear all weather mats (from factory) 3. Donut spare (got wheel and tire separately, then mounted at a shop) + BMW scissor jack 4. K&N cabin and engine air filters 5. Lights - All LEDs in front (turn, high, low and fog) and inner tailgate (reverse, and 2 inner bulbs). Working on last few bulbs for side tail light assemblies. 6. Removed ugly air bag decal on sun visors 7. Door striker covers from AliExpress (pointless cosmetic change ) 8. BMW front and rear mud flaps (self installed) 9. Wheel locks (from factory) 10. BMW tire valve caps (another pointless cosmetic upgrade, but adds a bit of flare to those that bother to look ) 11. Ceramic coating 12. BimmerCode customizations (e.g., door lights on while reversing, no annoying warning message on startup, Start/Stop feature always off, etc.) 13. Emergency and other ad hoc items (e.g., flares, fire extinguisher, basic tool kit - (pliers, socket set, screwdriver, etc.), jumper cables, battery jumper pack, tire plug kit, portable air compressor, first aid kit (from factory), paper towels, tire pressure gauge, etc.) - all fits in the under floor storage area in the trunk or glove box 14. BMW logo for all door puddle lights 15. "Golf tee" mod to right tailpipe exhaust flap (removed flap actuator clip and tied it to open position with safety wire) 16. Debadged "Xdrive" logos (only has X1 in back now) and removed all annoying dealer badges and license plate frames 17. "Leather" front seat covers (another AliExpress special; has held up extremely well for nearly a year now) 18. Under seat AC rear outlet duct covers That's about it (for now). Mine was a standard Xline delivered on 28/12/2017. It came with various items as standard to which I added at time of order:
# spare wheel and tray # jack (non run flat tyres) # adaptive suspension # panoramic sunroof # automatic dipping rear view mirror Can’t remember what else I added, but those are the important add ons. I since added a set of BMW winter wheels and tyres. |

Had it less than a month, but so far:
- BMW floor liners (deeper than the all-weather mats) - Many Bimmercode changes - Used Bimmerlink to open the exhaust valve on the right side, then pulled plug - LED bulbs all around, except fog lights - 3M paint protection film: bumper, lights, mirrors, full hood, trunk lip, rocker panels - Will be picking up a set of wheels and tires for winter, but not quite ready to think about that yet! |

QUOTE=Neworgri;25138975]Got any pics and links for it? Been wanting to get some but having doubts which ones to to get.[/QUOTE]
Dash cam is a Rexing V1 (link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077B25H9K..._F5ivDbVZ7M8B0). I like the wedge style as it's more difficult to see from the outside, which helps draw less attention from would-be thieves. I have it mounted right next to the rear view mirror with most of the camera hidden behind the dotted area at the top of the front windshield. I got Aliexpress seat covers for the front (link: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/b4pCPqug). They fit surprisingly well and are comfortable. The black on black is subtle, too. They are fairly easy to install and have held up after about 8 months of daily use. Cant complain about the price either. Pics attached. |

Got these pillows for the front seats. I found the headrests to be quite uncomfy and I think it's better with these. Also bought a set of winter Pirellis + wheels from BMW because they offered them with 50% discount: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jP...1uBDJdcl-5n_gV Didn't want run-flats, but the offer was too good to pass. |

Just fitted a clear foil protection rear bumper strip
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clear-Pro...53.m2749.l2648 OK - £12 may seem expensive for what you get but I would never have been able to cut one to the correct size Just waiting for Front and Rear mud flaps to arrive from Mr BMW - there seems to be a couple of sellers on eBay who are advertising "genuine" flaps at one third of the BMW price - but when you read feedback they are clearly made in China copies Last edited by Bluewater335D; 08-15-2019 at 08:17 AM.. |

Hi Bluewater335D
Just looked at the BMW winter wheel catalogue I had and have copied the info below: 17" Y-Spoke 574. Wheel dimensions: 6.5Jx17 Wheel colour: Silver Tyre size: 205/60R17 93H Tyres: Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3* Standard Tyres Part Number: 36 11 2 409 012 The official price was GBP1,100 I found a BMW dealer who sold them on eBay for I think it was GBP800. Have done 2 winters on them and the car holds the road brilliantly in the snow. Never got stuck either. Off to Alps again in February! |

LEDs
Coding with a lot of software control options like mirrors and lights. BWM Logo projector under the front doors (Night time) Console Box: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Black-Multif...97.m4902.l9144 BMW's orange/red color matching chrome button covers: Start/Stop; Volume, A/C. 19" Niche wheels - Removed those crappy and expensive Run-Flat summer tires. BMW Winter mats + Weathertech for winter. BMS (Burger Motorsports) Cold Air Intake Painted brake calipers (Silver) Plastic seat boxes on the sides next to the console: Good for storing envelopes and small things like handicap signs (for my mom) And of course upgraded my sound system: Installed Pioneer Tweeters on door corners: They come with cross-overs: Installed a self-powered Pioneer Subwoofer in the rear boot (trunk) under the cover (Industrial Velcro keeps it in place) Comes with a control remote which I located in the hidden small box in the front under and to the side of the steering wheel. This sub has it's own amp, cross-over and EQ. Sounds amazing now. 3M Plastic covers over the front hood, side mirrors, headlights and top of the rear bumper in front of the hatch. Ceramic Coating (Meguiars - Self) Took Kit and Tire inflation bong in case of flat. Round Mini mirror for blind spot (fits in the drivers side mirror...and is smoked to prevent glare. Air freshener vent .... |

No, unfortunately not. It actually became noticeable some time after I installed K&Ns. But it's likely be cause the weather got warmer, not the filters themselves as other members have the same issue with stock filters.
