Bavsound Speaker Upgrade

I am looking to upgrade my basic ass speakers in my car. Does anyone on the board have these stage one BMW speaker upgrade? If so, how do you like it?

I have the ghost subs, in the process of getting my amp as well. The ghost subs take about 12 hours of playback for them to break in, so they won't sound too great at first and you're even wondering wtf you paid for....but about 8-9 hours in they start sounding better and better.

I have the base system and changed the subs to focals, better base but not worth the money IMO. Hope you get better results.

Which amp are you looking into getting?

Also, did you change the 2 subs out yourself? If so, can you give me a few pointers?

Thanks!

Update!

I got the Bavsound Revenant 1300 watt amp

HOLY SHIT!

It makes the Harman/Kardon setup sound like Hi-Fi

With my Bavsound Ghostsubs they BUMP hard and smooth. My Hi-Fi speakers also have a significantly improved soundstage and although my car is a lease, I'm going to have an incredible sound for 3 years....and I'll get Hi-Fi on my next car again and swap those in too.

I did the amp myself, it's relatively easy if you have the right tools:

Torx bits (several sizes)
8-10mm socket with extension
Panel poppers

It took me about 45 minutes to do it, if I had to do it again I can probably do it in 20.

I did half of the sub install myself, I removed the seats using the T55 torx bit, used the smaller one for the grilles, but I didn't quite have all the lighting to remove the stock subs so I had my buddy who is a BMW tech do the rest and paid him, I could have probably completed it but he did it in about an hour. It seems like it's harder on an X1/X2 than other vehicles.

Just so we are all on the same page, you have the Bavsound AMP and Bavsound Subs, right? Are you looking into getting the Bavsound door speakers as well?

I have the Bavsound Ghostsubs and Bavsound Revenant Amp, incredible combination and I honestly feel like I don't even need the speaker upgrades, although I can imagine it would only sound much better.

I just compared it to a F10 and G30 HK system.....Bavsound sounds better, it rivals the B&W system which is saying something.

You guys know just changing the amp as well as speakers is not enough. There is a default sound file that comes with the amp and you can modify that sound file to your taste. Its a xxxx.afpx file. Modifying that file will enhance the sound from your speakers and surrounding vehicle environment.

I looked at all of the options to get more sound. I ride a 2016 Xdrive 28i F48 with Hifi system. Wasn't getting enough bass and volume. The best bang for your buck is to purchase a powered sub. I got the JL Audio 12" 400W powered Sub. It fits in the rear storage department, so it's hidden and its easy to install using the hifi connection. Most shops would install for $100. The bass is massive, and the sub control doesn't take away from the mids and highs.
I would suggest looking at Kicker, Memphis, and Focal versions also. My total investment was $725. $579 for the box $45 for wiring, $100 labor.

Anyone have a modified .afpx file for the X1 using a Match UP 7BMW Amp with stock HiFi speakers.

The SUV.afpx file on the Audiotec Fischer Web site is a base file for the x1/X2/X3 which each vehicle is vastly different.

I just finished the install of Bavsound speakers and subwoofers. Even before the break in period, I noticed an immediate improvement! Sounds great so far....
