The car is quick enough with premium fuel you can really tell the difference. Most cars i mess about with on highways or wherever, that are of same caliber in tenrs of speed, Porsche panemara ( v6 diesel) Golf GTI, Focus ST, 320d, E350 Merc, and many more which are similar in power i have generally beaten or kept up with at least to their shock in the 25d using shifters of course.

Just get a proper remap done after the warranty finishes. If you wanted something faster than what you had, you should have gone for a lesser brand with more Power with the sane budget. This is more than quick enough for a mini Suv.

I tried the RaceChip Ultimate box But have sent it back ..They gave me a Full refund...The Racechip did not show any noticeable gains in acceleration .. very disappointed ..
So i gave the TMC Box from Ed_rx7 a try and boy this does work!..
I have finally got round to doing some proper tests runs...On private road..Using the Racelogic Vbox sport..

Here are the results without the box
0 to 60 mph 7.01s
1/8 mile 9.79s@76.9 mph
1/4 mile 14.92@97.6 mph

Full tank of Fuel BP Ultimate 4 Passengers Sports mode + Sports mode Auto handbrake on just planted foot hard down..
Here results with TMC Box setting 7

0 to 60 mph 6.26
1/8 9.37@80.1 mph
1/4 14.32@101.1 mph

Very happy with the results..

I have not tested it on a rolling road HP results on a dyno dont mean any thing to me ..only real world results matter...
When accelerating off a local roundabout i now have to lift off the accelerator before i could accelerate without lifting off..the car gathers speed much faster Than the above figures suggest..
Thanks for Ed_rx7 for letting me have the TMC Box !
Well worth the asking price..Oh and it now leaves those pesky Focus STs well behind...
