Clicking noise. Did this matter below happen to any of you?

I heard a click when I press the brake paddle to shift the gear selector. I can also feel that on the selector knob. Engine was running at the time. The clicking noise can be heard every time I press the brake paddle. Mine is 2018 with abt 6 months warranty left. It just happened so haven't been to BMW service yet.

I've experienced once... after inspection, the problem came from 2 things: engine mounting need to be replaced and some cable clamps were broken..

Yes, pretty much the same happens to me every time I press the brake. But I always thought it was the "normal" sound of the gear selector release. Mine is a 2017 2.0i SDrive with almost 40,000 km.

Please, let me know what you find.

Thanks. My right side engine mount was replaced a few months ago. Probably the clips are the cause.

Update.

It was checked by BMW and said they won't do anything about it. Bcos it's still functional.
