I chuckled seeing the crossover between this and the 50th badge thread! I do want a set though

They say made in "Italy" and have a BMW logo cast into the carrier with the metal 50th badge tabbed over the carrier at four points just like BMW OE badges from a few years ago. Since BMW NA doesn't stock the current 50th badges and I've not been able to find the p/n for the 68mm version on my E82, this was my best shot. I've had the "original" Motorsport logo on my bikes, shirts, and jackets for, well, 50-years. Why deny me the pleasure of buying new ones. BMW sold me the damn parka for $300 or so just a year ago. Why make the hubcaps so hard to acquire?

I have BBS wheels so I don’t worry about BMW caps. My BBS caps are carbon with silver BBS.

But they're not backwards if you're looking from the front.

I suppose.
I don’t want to look at it from any angle.

Just like every car I see with stripes on the grille, this fad needs to die. I just shake my head and look away. It’s like I’m ashamed myself of others’ sin with that one. Face palm

Aftermarket!!
I actually don’t mind that setup, seems well integrated. Of course a tailgate handle camera is better hidden, but that’s alright in my eyes. Of course it’s sticking out like an unpainted sensor, so YMMV in terms of taste.

Yeah, knowing what it is, I can't say I mind it. Seems like it would throw a code, but guess not.

Could be legit! My 2021 X5 w/M Sport/shadow-line trim came with the M badging on the front L/R fenders, rear tailgate, wheels and on steering wheel / other interior locations.
