Active spoiler and ice/snow?
Hi,
Just want confirmation on this. If your car is iced over or has snow sitting on the Spoiler would I be right in thinking that if the spoiler detects an obstruction that the spoiler will not force itself to raise?

I have not had mine ice over (freezing rain). I have had snow and frost. Frost (requiring extensive window scraping) did not effect the spoiler. As for snow, I brush all snow off the vehicle, if not it can obstruct the brake lamps, turn signals and running lamps.

I will not og up if there is to much snow. You get a warning that says spoiler wont open and to stay under 130 km/h as long as it is obstructed by ice/snow

Thanks for this, as I don't want to be scraping off ice or frozen snow from spoiler if i don't need to could be bad for the paint work.
