Condensation in headlights
Hi all. We collected our new X2 today. Just wondering when I got home the headlight looked somewhat foggy like it had condensation in it. Obviously the dealer washed it all before we collected (it's brand new) would you expect condensation? Think it may burn out once the lamps are used a few times? I'll try get some pics tomorrow if I see it again.

I would wait it out a week with warm weather.. often brand new cars have a little condensation, also with a ton of rain etc it happens even when it's not new. You have a 4 year warranty, don't make more headaches yet.. enjoy!

Found this, Condensation inside headlights is not uncommon and it's not something to worry about. It is a normal occurrence. This is because modern headlight housings aren't sealed airtight. Ventilation passages are built into the headlight housing to let moisture in and out.

My 2018 X1 had same problem abt 3 months ago. Dealer had my car one day and dried out. It happened again after one week. The new head light was put on after that. You should take the photos and let your dealer know abt it.

Mine has LED’s
From my handbook, Headlight glass During cool or humid weather, the headlight glass can mist over on the inside. When driving with the lights switched on, the condensation disappears after a short time. There is no need to replace the headlight glass. If moisture increasingly forms, for example if there are water droplets in the lamp despite the headlights being switched on, have the head‐lights checked.
