FS: 2017 X1 M-Sport Shocks
Hi Guys,
For anyone interested in upgrading their non M-Sport X1 suspension, I have for sale, a set of used M-Sport shocks that I took off from my X1. They've been on the car for only 13,000 miles until I replaced them with Koni. Asking $450 shipped, obo. Last edited by 808X1; 10-07-2019 at 08:13 PM.. |

Have the Koni's improved the ride quality - or did you exchange them to get a more "sports" orientated set up?
I am used to Koni's on motor bikes - not cars |

It's for both. The Koni's gives a more sporty handling in terms of better cornering and transitional lane change stability and composure. The OEM feels floaty at times, whereas the Koni's feels more hunkered on certain roads. The Koni also soaks up bumps better in my experiences. That's not to say the OEM M-Sports shocks are bad. They're ok, but the Koni's just feels more surefooted. Ride is not jarring at all.
