Love this vehicle but only had 1 year and having issues. Service light came on. Oil level was low. Took to the shop. Said it was an oil leak, replaced valve cover, cost me$2700. Hopefully that’s fixed.
Recently the car started running different. Rough. Jerks a little while driving at low speeds like a parking lot. Today while driving, I was slowing down, coming to a traffic light, and the car almost turned off before even coming to a full stop. As if it’s going to cut off. Oddly it doesn’t really do this if the auto start/stop is off. I noticed while the auto start stop is on, it has been turning the car off way more frequently and sometimes before I even get totally stopped. Even the door locks are acting weird. I’m clueless. Is there a sensor, brake issue, battery? Any help is greatly appreciated

The first thing I'd look at is the car's battery. Most modern cars, these not excluded, are very sensitive to voltage. Numerous systems can/are adversely affected when voltages are off, & many times they only have to be off just a touch to cause havoc.

Get a multi-meter & check the battery standing voltage then check things with the car running to see if your alternator is putting out.

Thank you for responding!!
I took it to an advanced auto, they ran the test and stated both the battery and alternator were good. I wish I were knowledgeable. I’m clueless.

Try turning auto start/stop off for a few days and drive around, make a freeway trip of at least like 30 miles.

YouTube coupled with the forums like this one will get you at a decent base level of car knowledge in no time if you'd like to learn as you go.
