Will have to give this a whirl. A co-worker makes/sell Coquito, but I run thru those bottles too fast to buy -vs- make

Wow! That is one nice coop. I need to build a new one for my wife, ours is having water issues and just sucks in general now that it's 10+ years old. Did you use plans? I like that you used hardware cloth, most people use chicken wire but that happens to not be very safe from animals getting in. Stuff is so expensive. Also like the waterer that you have, great job!

A tiny little picnic table for our resident squirrel we affectionately call Nut. It's made out of real honest to goodness wood, no 3D printing here. He likes to fill the water dish with pine cones for some reason.

Thanks. I used a design, that I made, for most of it. Halfway through the build the lady I was building it for wanted to add and change things. She wanted deck added among other things. The hardware cloth was her doing, I knew nothing of chicken raising or chicken coops for that matter.

Thank you. It’s not my chicken coop. I built it for a customer. Also no horses.

I was bored and need a new table, after looking on the web, I figured out the model I really like were uber expensive and very very easy to make.

So here the idea after few hours of image browsing :

Got this beautiful Acacia slab 70x36, they were on sale at the crazy price of 137.99$ CAD, a steal, I took 2.

A friend of I made the legs as per my design. 304 ss hss 2x2. I wanted them easy to remove when moving , and also able to put a longer slab.

need to do a bench, and covering my existing chairs.

Dig!

At one point I was so poor I had to get creative on supplying myself with furniture. I started going through the scrap metal bin at work and taking home scrap pallets, angle iron, flat stock, square tubing etc. I'd say 60-70% of the furniture in my home is rehab'd industrial trash. It's different and no one has the same furniture.

Cool design. Do the legs stand on their own without falling over when the table is not in-place?

yeah, there aren't connected together.

My inspiration was from the picture attached, but welding 70'' tube makes it way too big when time come to move and more expensive too. I could go with mounting bolts , but I wanted all welded.

The table is fixed by 8 lag bolt, 2 per 6in horizontal tubes.

I found something satisfying by doing something unique.

I also did this coffee table for my basement, and its something 'emotional' , its from some of the 2x3 that I demolished when redone my kitchen. From 1957 !

Got it, couldn't see the bolts from the dwg, was wondering if physics was doing the work. Looks great!

The initial plan was to put 3x6'' bolts visible from each side, but I tried 3.5'' from under the table, and to make sure I put silicone.

Surprisingly its very stiff, I even tried it hard...

Very cool! Love the artwork as well! I've got a few straight up black walls in my house too. I covered the entire wall with black and white photos.

Adirondack Chairs

My son-in-law and I made 4 adirondack chairs. We used the design from old chairs we have at the family cabin that date back to 1930. We took one of the old chairs apart and made templates for each piece.

My son-in-law is very handy. I've never taken on a woodworking project of this complexity so my job as a helper. I did a lot of the work, but I never could have done this by myself.

I think the chairs came out great. We waiting for the wood to dry so we can finish them. They are almost ready.
