My new to me M35
Hi all. Following the forum for a while. Former 335 and x3 owner. Traded in the x3 35i for a 19 M35 with 3000 miles. Certified and maintenance plan included. Some provenance to this car too. Anyways just curious if anyone has put wider tread on their x2 yet? I have the standard 19's but an MSport car from BMW with 8 inch rims and 225 tires? Tricycle tires on a 300hp vehicle? I saw the Daehler car but can't find the rim width in any of the literature. My thoughts are to put a 19 or 20 with a width of 9" and possibly a 245 tire. Anyone tried yet?

My winter tires were huge... 19X8.5 width..255/35R19 offset was also +25 so it stuck out a little like a truck. Felt really nice..
Since the car is FWD biased, other than looks, you really need more tire on the front. There's tons of room inside the wheel wells though. |

Weird looks like my car pic is rotated.. but just save as and rotate that bad boy around I think that would be plenty of room with that offset. |
