Also an epic failure of a show ending.

Yeah... If you say so.

One episode or even a season can NEVER take away from the entire body of work... Period. The show is legendary. Which very few if any shows can boast.

It totally can. It’s kind of like having sex: if you finish 10 seconds after starting you technically did have sex but at least one person was left unsatisfied. Everything leading up to it was great but the ending is what people remember.

Am I missing something, why do they need to bring it back. I'm sure I can stream it from beginning to end anytime I want.

Check out r/FreeFolk, the salt there hasn’t slowed one bit since the show ended. This will not be received well.

Will the books ever be finished at this point, will we ever receive a proper ending?

I'm having a hard time thinking of a great series or show that ended amazingly well. GOT, Madmen, Sopranos, Seinfeld, Lost, etc. All blew.

I actually liked the Mad Men ending, although it has been years since I saw it so I have forgotten many aspects of it. Schitts Creek and Six Feet Under are two that come to mind for great shows with great finales.

Don Draper at some SoCal hippie commune? Ugh.

You are 100% right on Schitt's Creek. As I was writing my post above I was recalling my wife and I finishing some series and commenting on how well it wrapped up, but I couldn't recall which show it was. 100% it was Schitt's Creek. That show was amazing from the first episode to the last and every one in between.

TV/Film execs continue to ride coat tails.

I heard there is a new Spider Man movie coming out to explain all over again how.....honestly, I don't even have the ability to pretend I care enough to finish making my joke. Pretty sure Hollywood already made the joke, they just keep profiting from telling it over and over again, and people keep paying to watch it.

I have a hard drive full of old movies, but when I skim through them; knowing that I've already seen them, hell even if it's remake and something different....I just don't get excited about it.

I just can't wrap my mind around people selling other people the same shit they've already sold them, just in a different package and people still get excited about it.

The first episode is definitely worth re-watching....namean!?!!

And the idea that the finale can undo years of amazing episodes is silly.
