BMW X1 reliability

Hey guys. Picking up a 2018 BMW X1 for the wife later this week. 19,000kms on the clock. Wondering how the reliability has held up for you guys in 2015 plus X1s. And how the b48 engine has been ? Thanks in advance any input is greatly appreciated!

Just sold my car last month. I had 11k miles on it and didn't have a single issue. Just oil changes and tire rotations.

Really nice car but for us the back was so tight for our car seats so we decided to sell it.

Zero issues on our '16 X1 and we're cresting over 40K Miles.. I just did a front brake job which is great (some people have complained of brake changes at the 19K KMs!)

Car is otherwise kept stock for the wife.

60k on our 2018, no problems other than electrical gremlins that come and go when it's below -15c. Parked outside all year with no issues.

Garage List
2006 BMW 330i   [0.00]
2018 X1 @ 62,000 miles and no issues.

Only complaint is the foot under the rear bumper to open the rear hatch can be a bit erratic. I can walk past the rear and it will open, then the next time I have my hands full can't get it to work.

Has been a great vehicle, comfortable (sport seats) and getting 30mpg

The rear hatch sometimes opens when I'm rinsing the bottom of the car. Need to be quick on the pressure washer unless you want to soak the interior.

You know that's very interesting.. I have only washed my car with the hose and at the coin op station and the only problem I had was with the doors locking/unlocking or folding the mirror, but never the hatch.

No issues at 68,000 miles 2016 X1 Msport. First car in decades that hasn't burned oil.

Upgraded to Bilstein B8 struts and Bavsound/Focal speakers, Michelin Alpin non run flats. All positive changes.
