I mean, she did apologize a little later, so I just blow it off as " another one of those times". I know it's a woman thing. You women think too much..., about everything. Why do women have to think so much? lol

Fiddle me that riddle.

It's because you guys don't seem to think enough. We take it as a sign of not caring and oh boy does the over analyzing go overboard then! We all do it, or worse, we truly don't care that much and then we dump the guy when they take the female role.

I've watched my friends fucked up relationships enough to know all this is true but hell if I'm any better because of this.

University food court lunch today was boneless ribs, baked potato, cole slaw, and baked beans. Oof! How the hell am I supposed to work this afternoon after such a huge lunch?

I don't know. I think when it's needed. I remember what's needed (sometimes). I take it more as a give-take with women. I've helped her write 15 page papers, all her math homework, car repairs, romantic shit..., the least she can do is help me remember the damn strawberries!

Guess that's why I don't do girlfriends anymore. Too much thinking. Just wanna put my wiener in them, share dinners, long walks on the beach, sex on the beach, slam a bottle of Cab, and eat chips with salsa and bacon. You know. The easy life.

Easy gets boring fast but enjoy it for now Billup. I'm sure we'll be reading about your future messes soon enough.

Oh come on now, I already make messes, I just don't share them with the world. Most of them are the messes of my mistresses all over my bedsheets, but there's a separate thread for that stuff.

Although, this one time...., well..., I don't know if I should say it.

So very true. Here's a customer service issue I dealt with a year ago when I went out of town for two weeks. I've been living in my current house for three and a half years now, and I'm still getting a Sunday paper delivered for the previous owner. I didn't want these papers sitting on my doorstep for days while I was out of town.

I call up the paper and ask if they can skip the delivery for a few weeks. The support rep wanted to look up the account by my name or phone number. Unfortunately, the rep couldn't understand when I explained that I never opened the account, so my name or number won't be listed, nor do I know the name or number of the previous owner. You would think they could look up my address in their system, but apparently they are unable to do that. At this point the rep was at a loss and kept saying we should still try to look it up with my phone number. I could no longer handle the incompetence and gave up.

American Airlines sent me an email that my upcoming flight had been rescheduled. Really just a different airplane and marginally different flight times (a few minutes). The email said if I had purchased Main Cabin Extra seats (I had), that those seats would be transferred to the new flight. But when I saw my new seat numbers, they obviously weren't Main Cabin Extra. So I called AA and asked about my MCE seats. The woman I spoke to said that despite the email telling me the seats would transfer, those seats had been cancelled and that I would get a refund for the extra cost. If I wanted MCE seats on the new flight, I'd have to request them again. She said she could do that for me while we were on the phone, so I said fine, whatever. One hour later I had my seat assignments mostly the way I wanted them. We're flying Chicago (ORD) to Denver and back, but she kept saying Orlando to Denver (because of the ORD, I'm sure). I kept asking her to please make sure I'm not on a flight from Orlando to Denver.

Finally I got my seats changed to MCE, although they only billed me for 3 seats instead of the 4 (2 out, 2 back). They didn't charge me for the MCE upgrade for one seat from ORD to DEN, but my new ticket does show I have the seat. So maybe I lucked out.

Still, one hour to change seats? Really?

Originally the flight from ORD to DEN was on an Embraer 145, which is a dinky regional jet like the one we take from Champaign to O'Hare. It makes no sense to book 1st class when the seats there are essentially the same as the MCE seats. Then they changed the flight to an MD-80, but as I already had seats and it's just a 2 hour flight, I figured screw it, I'd live with it.

My FWP today;

Found out there were dating sites for little people. I'm having a hard time "making" myself look like I'm 4'5'' to score a date.

Also, there was a breach at my bank, so they sent me a new card with a new pin number..., I've always had 9876, now some dinkus changed it and I can't get any money from the metal box thing.

Been here 13 years, taken many a flight but SOMEHOW never end up on AA. They code share with Qantas but I just take AC from YYZ to LA rather than AA.

That's how they manage to bring once young people from the 30s to "serve" as flight attendants... I get it now.

Vanilla is the only way to go. Chobani + Nature Valley Oats n Honey granola is my go to. Delicious.

Have a supplier coming down from MI to take myself and a few other engineers out to dinner. Normally this would be fine, but I've had a lot on my mind today and in a really shitty mood, so now to avoid the "what's wrong" questions, I have to fake being in a good mood.

My FWP: Drunkenly slept with one of my best friends this past Sunday. And by best friends, I actually mean best friends. Her and I have been total bros since high school (she's 19, I'm 22). She's not your typical girl, she basically thinks exactly like a guy and rarely lets emotions get involved in her thinking, and she's also very up-front, logical, and honest, but she's also insanely pretty. She's also talking to a couple of different guys and isn't looking for a relationship. She was really sore and swollen, but everything was fine the next morning (Monday), wasn't awkward at all, her and I still talked and laughed and everything, and she sent a nude picture to my phone while we were in the car on our way to drop her off. Dropped her off, and I went to work. We had a very short text conversation while I was at work, and she didn't respond to the last text I sent. We're used to texting every day and having long conversations and using emojis and laughing a lot, but we didn't text at all yesterday (Tuesday). I texted her today and just said, "Hey, do you want to go to Formula Drift with me Saturday? Gregg and a few other people are going." and she just responded with, "Nah, I'm good. Thanks though".

TL;DR: My FWP is my overthinking ass is getting the better of me, and I feel like I got "hit-and-quit" by one of my best friends.
