Headlights - Halo Rings

Can anyone confirm what the difference between is the headlights with the Premium Package and without?

I want to leave the Premium Package off, but want to make sure you still get the neon/hyper white angel eyes that glow and not just a dull yellow similar to that in the 320 or 328.

Any help is appreciated, if I can get the dealer to provide photos I will post them here.

I have no idea if the standard halogen ones have a warm colour or not. If the bulbs have a similar colour temperature as the fog lights, then yes. They are noticeably yellowy!!

My personal opinion, unless you have budget constraints, LED is a must have.

On eu spec active tourer the halo is blue-ish and comes from the bottom part of each headlight. Not bad but no corona ring / typical signature

I would love to get the LED lights but I don't want the Premoium package because the moonroof comes with it. I need the extra couple inches of headroom without a moonroof. It's not a matter of cost for me. It's a matter of head space.

You must be pretty tall. I'm 6'3" and have decent headroom with the seat adjusted to how I normally drive (edit: while sitting in an X1 with moonroof).

There's a video on YouTube that shows some German guy who's 6'5" sitting in the front seat of an X1 and he has a bit of headroom to spare as well. Could be he has a short torso though. I don't envy him going over speed bumps though.

Lots of headroom in the F48, with or without moonroof. A 6'6" friend of mine recently had a test drive and said it was great

Headroom test (at 13:55 if you're on mobile):

His cameraman is 6'5'' tall and still has plenty of headroom.
