BMS Cold Air Intake X2 M35i

Hello,

Long time reader.

Installed a BMS CAI on my X2 M35i last night.

Aside from certain parts of the install being annoying fiddly, it was an easy install without hassle.

The result however, super disappointing. It makes essentially no difference to induction noise, and obviously no felt by the bum dyno.

Has anyone found an intake or system that gives some nice turbo spool sound? I'm thinking perhaps the intake charge pipe needs to be replaced by a metal version.

Any thoughts?

Unfortunately the only thing that I thought someone had luck with is the Eventuri ones which are $$$. I do also agree it may only get louder if you change the piping to metal... or open up your exhaust with less resonators or cats..
