I got rear-ended

sounds funny, but its not. A ford f150 hit my car while i was waiting for another car to make a left turn. It happened in so cal. She had a license except the girl driving wasnt under the insurace policy. So they dont know if they wanna cover it. I have full coverage but i much rather have the other insurance cover it. What can I do? Another thing where is a good place to have my bmw repaired? I want to go to a repair shop that knows how to work on bimmers. Im in the costa mesa area of socal. Thanks

check in your local forums http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=43 for body shop recommendations.

I'm not sure about California, but in moststates the car owner's insurance assumes liability if the driver is unlicensed. "Uninsured motorist ins" comes into play when neither the car, nor the driver, has insurance.

Orange County? My pops owns a bodyshop in Gardena and he'll fix your car for a good price, and you won't have to go through insurance. It's called Coach Auto Mart. If you want more info, PM me.

You're retarded. OP's car got rear ended by someone else -- why would he NOT want to go through insurance?

OP, if the f150 has insurance, you should be okay. Try searching for Spectrum Collision or something like that, or search on the BMW website for authorized collision repair centers -- I think there is one decently close to you (I want to say Irvine, but don't remember).

The OP will want to go through insurance - the insurance company of the at-fault car.

Not to cast any doubt on the quality of work done by "pops," if I were the OP I'd still ask around at the local forum for recommendations.

Who knows, "pops" might be at the top of the list - or not.

I've used Spectrum Collision in the past. I was pleased with their work. However, I have not been there since Ed Cobbett, the GM, left.

Wow, you guys are rough. I would check out all possibilities even with "pop". Naturally, through my insurance.

ANOTHER dude rear-ended? Women in trucks FTMFL.

Glad you're okay, OP. You better have her insurance cover it, somehow.
