Park Assist Not working
Hello,
I replaced a damaged PDC with a third Party supplied unit. After installing, I put the car in reverse and it was working. Confirmed working a couple times and then it quit. Now the dash/radio display says No Park Assist request service. Display does not let me select (no Check Mark). Does the system need to be reset with code reader or is it aftermarket sensor will not work. Thanks |

PDC Reset
I talked with the reseller I bought the aftermarket PDC from and I was told to perform the following;
METHOD ONE: 1. Install the new PDC parking sensors 2. Start the car and put the gear stick to "R" 3. Wait for three minutes before turning off the engine 4. Uninstall the PDC parking sensors 5. Wait for three minutes then re-install the PDC parking sensor 6. Repeat steps 1-5 for three times METHOD TWO: 1. Find the parking sensor on/off switch 2. Start the car 3. You should see parking sensor switch starts flashing 4. Press the switch ten times 5. Press and hold the switch, release it after turning off the car engine 6. Press and hold the switch again (do not release it until step 8) 7. Start the car 8. Release it after hearing the alarm buzzer signal Don't believe Option two is valid for the X1 Anyone with feed back here? Thanks, |
Appreciate
