It can be checked with the BimmerLink app but I’ve never seen a way to display it on the car itself.

I bought a USB charger with voltage display that plugs into the lighter socket in the centre console. It just replaced an old USB charger without voltage display that I need for my smartphone. Power is turned off 5 minutes after turning off ignition.

Cheap solution and does the job for $10 or so. It is surprising how much the voltage drops to <11V after a few days without driving.

You can find it in the service menu of the car. Here is a video that shows how you access it:

Odd. Normally it is there and the video also shows it. I just checked mine and I can't find it either. So apparently BMW for some odd reason they have removed the voltage display in there.

It may depend on year, model and region also.

For me, even if voltage, it seems a lot of steps to remember and go through

This came today works fine in power socket central front stowage. Shows voltage and condition of battery charge.
