Phone mount solutions?

How are you guys mounting your phones in the car, if at all. I mocked up the Kuda mount I bought but with the magnet I got for it it kinda looks out of place. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Not my photo but this is the mount.

This is what I am using. But original clamp is not as good as the one I found. So I swapped the clamp and bought anotheb12 v compact adaptor and 90 degree micro usb cable.
I swapped with the rubber clamp from the second photo.

I got mine from ProClip. They have fully adjustable models too. I wasn't willing to risk damaging the vent louvers.

I prefer the CD-slot clip in ones. The vent ones are just asking to snap the vent plastic if you press too hard.

But that said - since getting the X1 and using CarPlay, I don't even have the phone on display - no need

I second the Brodit Proclip mounts. They are pricey but they keep the dash looking tidy. Which they made a mount with wireless qi charger built in though

Brodit are excellent - the first one I bought went in my Alfa 156, then I bought one for my MX5, followed by my F21 120d and Boxster. Haven't had one for my F10 520d, just have a magnetic mount that pushes onto the air vents - but with a large phone, this does obscure the screen, so when my X1 arrives, I'll look at Brodit again.

This is by far my favorite solution after trying a few different solutions such as the CD one:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32997047819.html
It basically utilize the space between the vent while not completely blocking the controls.
