BMW F48 Front PDC
Hi guys,
One more post for you all! We are in the UK and we have just purchased a 2018 F48 X1 xDrive20d Sport Auto, and it has rear PDC installed. I would like to install front PDC also, but not as an aftermarket solution where the display has to be changed etc. I would prefer it to be integrated into the existing BMW setup, keeping the same screen etc. Does anybody know of a way that this can be done, using BMW official parts, including colour coded sensors? Thanks! |

I would google for a local auto electrician if I were you. I have friend who does this for most car manufacturers, who comes from Swindon that is too far away for you. It is not difficult to do with many auto electricians doing for local garages. Some years ago my wife had it done when she had a suzuki, and it was costed out at 1 hrs work plus parts.
Edited. Perhaps give these a call. https://www.cartronics.co.uk/bmw-gallery

Hi Peter,
I saw your recommendation for someone in Swindon that could retro fit the front PDC to my 2016 X1. Is it possible you could give me his details. Not to jump on another members post, but I'm also looking for someone to fit front fully integrated parking sensors, and not too far from Swindon. Many thanks, Simon. |
