Sunroof Track Lubrication

Hi, I've cleaned the tracks but can someone help me where to put the grease. Attached photo for reference.

Tried to get a better photo. Could someone guide me which is responsible moving of the roof. Green or Red?

I apply the lubricant in the U shaped track that exists under the exterior weather stripping, which looks like the green circled area in your 2nd photo. Also, I spray the metal spring that extends/retracts the wind deflector.

You can also probably lubricate the red circled piece without any issues.

See attached photo. My pen points to the track that I'm referencing.

Thanks! What lubrication do you use? Also will lubricating fix shuddering problem?

I use white lithium grease from a spray can. An appropriate silicone based lubricant should be fine. Don't use anything petroleum based as it'll deteriorate the rubber seals. BMW also sells sunroof lubricant (BMW Part # 83192157321) if you want to be sure you're using the correct product.

I don't know if it'll fix your problem. Apply the lubricant and see since it's cheap enough and a good maintenance item anyway.

Did you get this done?

I have the same issue where the panoramic sunroof makes noise and moves slower than usual.
