X1 F48 Gearbox 6-speeds
I am just booked X1 2016 two weeks ago, it has nice sporty shape but according to it specifications ( in Egypt), it has 3-cylinders 1500 cc with automatic 6-speeds.
my concern on why BMW back again to 6-speeds gearbox? and, if these gearbox has problems? what are the differences between 6 & 8 speed? which is better? thanks |

Hi I think it is the same as in the 2 series active tourer where the 3 cyl 1.5 petrol and diesel has a six speed automatic. This is because the 6 speed is more suited to the lower torque output of the engine rather than there being any problem. This engine is not available in the X1 in the UK (yet)
