I have traded my x2 m35i for a 440 gc.

She’s been fun but I had some concerns about longevity with drivetrain malfunctions and the fact that trade in value is ludicrous right now.

New girl is Brooklyn grey
20” individual wheels with ps4s
Laser light
Cf mirrors
Hk sound
Red leather
Full tech packages
M adj suspension

Approximately just how ludicrous was the trade-in? My dealer has taken to putting a tip-up sign in front of the service bay offering to buy for cash. Sheesh!

35k near high end of kbb with 41k miles. Which means you’re close to rotor replacement & not far from 1k in tires.

I’ve had about 8 drivetrain malfunctions too.

Nice. I didn't push too much because I had a hail dent, a pretty deep scratch in the rear quarter and nobody asked or checked about my 9k front end damage from a collision so...

So it looks like out here in Arizona that it is damn near impossible to buy any new BMW because there just aren't any on the lot or in current inventory anywhere as I tried this past Saturday. Damn.

I was tempted to get a 240 but I saw the leg room and decided I wouldn't be that cruel to my daughter yet! Enjoy!! Sad to see so many going, I kind of wish I had the money to keep the x2 and put a dedicated ecu in it and see what it could do.

Probably smoke the trans but other than that...haha

Nice! My tint got done last thursday. Finally through break in and got on it a bit, she's definitely quicker than the ole girl. I bet yours is a rocket.

Can you please tell me about the drivetrain malfunctions? I saw one of those messages so far and then it disappeared. Another malfunction on some kind of restraint malfunction but that disappeared the next time I started the car too. What can I have the dealer fix if the messages aren't there?

I dont know what they were. It would just randomly come up. Usually with 1/4 tank or less. Resetting almost always fixed it but had times where it stayed for a couple cycles.
