Both Rear 12v Sockets not Working

Hoping someone can help point me in the right direction.

Recently picked up a 2017 X1 and noticed the front 2x 12V sockets are working but the 2 x rear are not. I checked Fuse #65 20A which looked fine but not sure if this supplies all 4x 12v sockets (doubtful @20A) or only the 2x front and maybe the rears have a separate fuse to check? Sheet in fuse box lists 63,65,100,115,132 but only 65 seemed accessible from the glovebox and others were either not fitted or not visible. Anyone had this issue before and found the solution?

Maybe this wiring diagram can help. It appears to me that fuse 132 is the one that supplies power to the rear-most power outlets:

In order to check the other fuses, you will have to remove the cover tray beneath the glove box. A few screws and you can remove it. Those other fuses will then can be accessed.

Have the rear 12v sockets ever worked while the vehicle was in your possession?

I only ask because there are two different 12v socket sizes...and many BMW owners have thought that the sockets didn't work and the only problem was the incorrect size of the plug they were inserting into the socket.

If you didn’t know…there are two sizes:
12-volt cigar lighter receptacle and plug, size A:
  • Receptacle inside diameter: 20.93 - 21.01 mm (median 20.97 mm)
  • Plug body diameter: 20.73 - 20.88 mm (median 20.805 mm)
  • Most often used in American automobiles.
12-volt cigar lighter receptacle and plug, size B:
  • Receptacle inside diameter: 21.41 - 21.51 mm (median 21.455 mm)
  • Plug body diameter: 21.13 - 21.33 mm (median 21.18 mm)
  • Most often used in European automobiles, and sometimes as a second socket in American automobiles expressly for DC power connections.

Here's a BMW SIB (service bulletin) PDF that describes how to address 12v sockets that don't work due to size incompatibility:
