What is Mojave Metallic - poo?

Was just on the configurator and it looks like baby poo 70's brown - who would order that?

Looks like they took one of the best colors - Sparkling Graphite and replaced it with poo! What are they thinking?

different strokes for different folks

I will reserve my opinions until after I see it in person in hopes that it looks similar to Porsches Slate Grey.

I actually saw one on the road and had to do a double take because i didn't know bmw made cars in that color. Weird, but not as bad as it sounds.

Brown seems to be making a comeback. Have you seen Porsche's macadamia brown, new for 2009...

If caviar was that color I would not eat it! I really hope it looks better in person, I know the configurator is not very good a representing colors, but on the configurator it is nasty looking!

The CGI rendered graphic does not do it justice. Few if anyone probably has a color managed monitor that is calibrated, and even then, you have to see it in person.

It was an option on BMW motorcycles and looks good in person

I'd withold judgment until I see it in person. roadkillrob, just look at your signature. Montego blue doesn't look that dull or deep. In person Montego is much more vibrant and rich. Online configurations are terrible at showing true colors.

I would have to agree that it does not bring out the lines of the car. It does kind of remind me of..well...I guess poo!

SG does look purple in some angles...Maybe that is why they scratched it??? They should come out with another darker gray option.

I doubt that is why. I have SG, and I love it, rare purple hue and all. However, I see SO MANY SG's out there it is ridiculous. I think 80% of the E90's I've seen in the PNW are SG.

My personal opinion is that SG was the most interesting color BMW offered. I'll hold judgement on this new color until I see it in person. But the "Poo on Poo" comment had me rolling!

...on the plus side, you'll only need to wash the car only twice a year because no one will notice the mud. Take that Alpine White!
