The ONLY option for WAY Map Update is OEM Map FSC Code issued by BMW AG for your VIN.

Just bought a 2018 X2 with 6UP, WLAN, Enhanced Bluetooth, etc. I think I might be able to enable Apple CarPlay without anymore hardware, is that correct? Would love to have it.

What’s the difference between the FSC coding and the SIM provisioning through teleservices? Pros and Cons of each?

I already have the wireless hotspot enabled with a phone number and data service through AT&T, so my SIM is activated already.

If I wanted to attempt this myself, can BimmerUtility perform the same function as tool32 with the enavevo.prg function for provisioning?

I can’t seem to find the TOOL32 files.

BimmerUtility is not same as Tool32, it cannot load .prg files.

Desperate to have CarPlay as my previous BMW’s have had it.
Can you let me know if it’s possible?

Last 7 VIN - 5N27172

High spec car has most options. Willing to change the head unit as I really want car play. If all info on this can provided I’d really appreciate it.
Prefer to have CarPlay through the OEM route not a third party box added. Hence why I’d be willing to get a new bmw head unit that’s compatible.
