That's how you're supposed to use sea foam---put it into the throttle-body/carb intake (if you have one), have it sucked in via vacuum hose, then put the remainder in the oil. After all the huge smoke clouds go away, get your oil changed.

A local shop near me tore open an Audi FSI engine and here's what the back of the intake valves looked like after 60k miles:
Pretty scary... After this I decided to get a catch can, even though I'm trying not to mod my car, I'm going to put the catch can on and take it off if need be for dealer visits.

Nothing a good walnut blast wouldn't take care of....
But seriously, that is what our cars have to look forward too if not taken care of. I doubt the dealer would care about the catch can...I leave my intake in for all visits, even hpfp recall and oil cooler retrofit, and never had any problems. |
