Do people really want these? I'm on the fence aesthetically but I'm wondering if it matters for resale. I know you can buy Thule racks that don't need the rails but they're not cheap. Most SUVs come with them standard but I'm not sure how I feel about them on the X2.

I hope to use my Thule aeroblade roof bars - the rails on the BMW seem similar to those that were on a previous vehicle so hoping I dont have to do any retrofitting. Anyone else using Thule bars on these rails?

I like them... I even installed a tow hitch should I feel like taking my atv somewhere...
On a resale as a buyer I'd be more interested how well the car was taken care of mechanically not the presence/absence of roof rails... but that's just me |

He said it is possible, however it will probably take around 3-4 hours of labour, which will cost around AU$1000 including parts here in australia.. I do have the part numbers if you need it. |
