Anyone here installed Bilstein B12 Pro-Kit on the X1?

Just wanna see how much it will lower the car and if there's any issue with it, a picture would be much appreciated!

Bilstein B12 is just a combo: Eibach Pro-kit (https://eibachshop.com/index.php?p25...ings-bmw-x1-x2) + Bilstein B8 (dampers are fixed rate, not like coilovers).

I have those Eibach with Koni Sport shocks (not a good combo), and IMHO, the stance is excellent.

Oh wow thanks for these pictures! Really appreciate that!

Do you have any spacers for the rear or the front? Also mine is an xline so I’m not sure if mine will drop like yours, yours looks great in the pics! This is exactly the height I wanna achieve on my car!

Yes, it will drop the same, ~30mm on a regular x1 (i.e., not M-sport).

I don't have spacers. This setup gave me a pretty flush look:
  • Wheels: Niche Gamma 19x8.5" et42, black gloss finish
  • Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 255/40r19 100W XL Acoustic

BTW, Bilstein B8 is the way to go if you install lowering springs since they are shorter than regular shocks.

Basically B8 is the ride the m-sport car should have come with.

Thanks jrveron!!! I’m going to buy the B12 kit soon

How do you feel about your wheels? Like how’s the quality and all that? I’m looking at Niche wheels as well, but I’m very interesting in buying OZ’s Superturismo Dakar (20inch) and other OZ wheels, not forged tho cuz they are just too expensive for me. Do you have and recommendations? Again really appreciate all the info!

Yeah I feel like B8 + Eibach spring is the sweet spot ride height for the X1, not too high not too low, just about right

Niche wheels are okay and at a decent price. They look and perform great, even with my constant "abuse." Of course, OZ is way better, but I believe it's kind of overkill for an X1, you know. Plus, I didn't want to spend a lot of money.

But whatever wheel you choose, put Michelin Pilot Sport 4/4S/5 tires. They make a huge difference.

BTW, are you sure about 20"? IMHO, 19" is the sweet spot for the X1.

Tbh im now leaning towards the 19” more, 20” is a bit too large for the X1, and I feel like it will look a bit weird? I don’t know. But then 20” on the X1 makes more difference visually.

I’ve been searching for wheels on the internet for several weeks now and I still cannot find the one that I like, prob need to spend more time on it lol.
