This may help one or two of you in the UK. I have edited the email (dated today) but the important bit is below. Received this from a freind of mine who owns a BMW dealership. It would seem that other reports of the M3 being later this year are correct.

Ref M3 no date yet but the signs are last quarter this year or first quarter next.

I heard last night that the "M Sport" version of the E92 is available from 01.03.07 - Is this correct?

Also, what is the waiting list / expected delivery time for the M3?

Nope - the M Sport version - same as the E90 M Sport. The bodykit is slightly different that the current aerokit option. The only down side is that the rear valance is not in the body colour - but there will be a carbon fibre valance available as an extra.

If you search around for E90 M Sport, you'll see that outside North America you can get the M Sport package. Includes a different body kit, rims, lower/stiffer suspension then regular sport, and interior bits and pieces.

The only way to get it in the U.S., is to order the components piece by piece and do it yourself.
