Hi Shawn, I got my new X1 xDrive25e (2021 model) and Apple CarPlay is not available on ConnectedDrive portal.

I have a 10inch screen unit (6UP) and Heads Up Display.

As everyone else lately in this thread I'm wondering if it is possible to activate in someway.

I have just looked at my ebrochure (used for reference to purchase my new X1) and all X1's including the X1 xDrive25e are listed as already having Apple Car Play Preparation. The code is 6CP in the UK. I would have thought that Italy is no different! I could be wrong of course.

I would suggest that the reason that it is not available to you on your ConnectedDrive Portal (the one where you log in) is that it is already enabled as stated above and therefore it cannot be purchased as an addition.

Have you followed the pairing instructions for the phone to the car?

Hi Peter, thank you for helping. Looks like my car is missing 6CP optional that costed 310€ if you have 6UN. I have 6UN but noone ever informed me that 6CP was needed. I would pay the 310€ now but looks like it impossible

Any idea how to solve?

Your VIN does not have factory option 6CP, but that does not necessarily mean that you do not have the hardware required for CarPlay (e.g. ENTRYNAV2 Head Unit with WLAN Port / Function). PM sent.

I have a similar problem, my BMW X1 F48 delivered in June 2020. I have Navigation Plus 6UP & 610 but BMW Connected drive shows me that it is not available to order/enable.
The fact is I skipped it during the car configuration, but does it mean now I cannot enable it at all?

I have a brand new late 2020 (delivered 3 days ago in 2021) X1 F48 LCI. It has the Navigation package with a 10,25" display but not Navigation Plus. I would also like to know what my options are since the dealership says it's a dead end at this point.
