Warranty Success - Electric Power Steering

I have a 2019 x2 M35i and just completed some major warranty work.

I had a few issues that started last year where the steering wheel would not stay centered to drive straight. After getting the car aligned 4 times in about a 6 month period to try and sort out the issue, along with switching wheels and tires (summer <-> winter), the foreman at the dealership finally ruled out all other possibilities and replaced the entire Electric Steering Gear.

Upon picking it up and driving it today, everything felt super firm and drastically improved the steering.

Just a general FYI for anyone who is skeptical about a dead spot in the center, I highly recommend to keep pursing it directly with BMW.

BMW came through and corrected the issue.

Parts replaced:
Electric Steering Gear 33-10-4-A39-032
2 x Combination Nut 33-30-6-787-062
2 x Clamping Bolt Clamping Bolt
