Hello all. Really enjoying everyone's insights on this forum. So many knowledgeable and helpful people….

Question- my 2018 X1 has heads up display. But unlike my X3, it does not have speed limit information nor displays Apple CarPlay navigation information on the heads up display. Can this be added? Currently the heads up display shows the speed i am traveling.

Settings would be in your idrive menu.

Do you have ConnectedDrive option? Are there any cameras in your front windshield? The cameras are needed to recognize the speed limit road signs.

i am not sure i have cameras either. How about the option in the X3 where Apple maps directions appear in the heads up display? I am not sure if this is an option for later versions of Idrive than I have?

There's no speed limit options on my F48 head up display settings, and no carplay/android auto option, just the BMW satnav.
