Funny, that , it was someone in BMWNA who told me there were 107 in the US just a couple of weeks ago. Maybe another 100 (one hundred!) have appeared this week. And 200 (two hundred) in a country with a at least 250,000,000 cars (Wikipedia estimate from 2007)!!! So sorry for not realizing there there so many (two hundred!!!!!) in the whole country! And, SOOOOO sorry for not calling it a DCT. Silly me, spending my money on this car and not knowing the lingo. Slapping myself on the wrist here.
Funny, while I thought I'd miss the manual transmission from my old 2002 M3, I don't miss it at all. Especially since the AUTOMATIC box (two clutches, imagine) is so good. But don't take my word for it; when I did the Ultimate Driving Experience courses earlier this year ALL of the M engineers and all the professional drivers said that the new A U T O M A T I C gearboxes are so good, you'd be foolish to buy a manual transmission in 2014. Just saying ;-) |

With that level of rarity you probably are charging MSRP + a few K.
GLWS - People generally appreciate kindness so sharp comments can come across the wrong way. Maybe sad to see it go? |

I imagine he's trying to sell the rarity aspect so that he can get the price he wants. BTW, why are you selling OP?

Agreed, it is an automatic. Nothing wrong with that. It's what I'd option with the M4, myself. GLWS.

No, no, no, no, NO, NOOOO! ... just ... no. Nope. Enthusiasts vs others: Definitions. Most of the ignorant posters here are missing the point. In that we should all feel fortunate that you listed your car for sale on this particular forum. I mean, you could have listed it anywhere. Dozens of BMW forums. But no, you chose us. We should be thankful that the only M4 in all of Boston (perhaps even on the entire east coast), is listed right here. In front of our very own eyes. And that is something to celebrate. Be proud my friends. This M4 needs no introduction. No price is needed. No pictures, no window sticker, options. No need to get desperate. It just goes by ... THE Boston M4. That's it. Just one. All those other for sale threads are just trying too hard. So sleazy. The fact that folks here are not lining up to buy this car blows my mind. Some guys just can't see a good BMW deal if it slapped them in the face with rubber chicken. You just need ONE buyer for this RARE production M4. And he damn well likes Mineral Gray. Good luck with the listing, Joe. You will need it. Also, have fun in Hawaii. Last edited by Falafel Combo; 12-17-2014 at 05:59 AM.. |

Now this may sound crazy... but I just went on cars (.) com and searched for all BMW M4s available for sale (new and used) and the query returned 829 matches. All of them are MY 2015 cars.
In fact, there are 107 listed as mineral gray alone. So unfortunately Joe, if you wanted to sell this car on its 'rarity' and 'limited production' you have run out of time. Good luck with the sale, and good riddance. |
