Spark Plugs - Service Interval?
I've checked numerous sources (multiple forums, online search and newtis), and I'm seeing conflicting responses regarding the spark plug service interval for the F48 X1. Some say every 30k or 60k, and others say every 2nd oil change or 6th... Anyone have a definitive answer on the actual service interval?
Also, has anyone DIY'd this job recently to confirm whether the latest BMW part number of 12120040551 is still most up-to-date? Thanks. |

30K miles seems ridiculously short for replacing plugs. But, assuming the job is done right, it won't hurt, and might improve performance a tiny bit.

When I replaced the plugs in my Nissan Maxima at 150K miles, they were still looked good for at least another 50K. Those plugs were Factory rated 100K. Does BMW still use copper plugs or what?
