Bluetooth connectivity issues on iPhone
Greetings,
I have the 2019 pre-LCI 6.5" with bluetooth and touchscreen if it matters. My phone is iPhone XR. The issue is that when I receive a call, the bluetooth handsfree connection works for like a few seconds, and then drops - the phone switches from bluetooth to handset speaker and I need to manually put it back to bluetooth in order to continue using the handsfree. It is very annoying and quite dangerous to be honest. When I make an outgoing call, everything works ok. Also, on my girlfriends Huawei, it works fine. So I am guessing that the iPhone is the issue, but I can't find any solution online. Anyone else having similar issues, and hopefully solutions? Regards |

Latest iOS on the iPhone?
If not, then ensure it is up to date Then delete BT pairing on both BMW and iPhone, and re-pair from scratch, if you haven't already. If that doesn't resolve the issue, my next suggestion is to reset and erase the iPhone, and restore from a back-up...but that's getting drastic.

This link, from another recent thread, should give the information you need to find out if you need to update your settings for the iPhone (or Samsung):
