2018 BMW X1 LED Full LED Headlight with issue

I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues with their LED headlight housings. I know that these lights are not sealed housings and have a breather hole. However I'm a bit confused as to how this little critter (spider) entered the housing and what to do about this?

He was probably a lot smaller when he got in. I would have thought he would die sometime in the near future.

I can see several small (deceased) insects around the perimeter (but visibly inside) each rear light unit in the tailgate section of my X1. So far as I can see there's no way to extricate the little blighters and no indication as to how they may have found their way in!
Cannot see anything that shouldn't be there in the main body mounted rear light units on either side and nothing at all in the front LED light units.
