Looks like optic planet has a few UH-1
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.opt...ml%3f_iv_amp=1

If you have astigmatism look at the Holosun 510. The UH-1 (like Eitechs) will look like a blur.

Call optics planet and make sure it’s in stock. I stopped ordering from them since they pretty much drop ship everything. Everything i have ordered showed in stock but i get backordered notices. Then fight to cancel and get a refund.

PSA just did it to me yesterday with a suppressor mount. Said their industry partner doesn’t have any so my order is canceled and my refund should show up in 5 days. So on day 6 i will be disputing it. Sigh

I just ordered my Safariland holster (6360rds) from OP. Although they estimated a month wait, I received it yesterday and have already been practicing with it. I've only ordered from them a handful of times but every experience has been flawless. :

I've used a few Safarilands and they've all been great. Cant beat the prices either for a good holster.

Sure.

The outer belt is the "VTAC Combat Belt" from 5.11. https://www.511tactical.com/brokos-vtac-belt.html

Honestly I wanted the T.REX Arms "Orion" outer belt but it was out of stock and I had an approaching class I needed a belt for. The inner belt is the T.REX Arms "Orion Inner Belt." I do also use the T.REX Arms thigh strap. T.REX Arms also makes the dump pouch. https://www.trex-arms.com/store/t-rex-arms-orion/

The mag holders are G Code "Scorpion." I like these because they are universal; and stay open unlike elastic-style holders... plus I can piggyback pistol mag holders to my rifle mag holders. https://www.tacticalholsters.com/pro...-scorpion-kit/

Safariland holster and belt loop, with QLS quick disconnect.

Blue Force Gear "Micro Trauma" (Advanced version) IFAK and their "hammock" tourniquet holder https://www.blueforcegear.com/micro-trauma-kit

Small pouch by Kryptek that I use to hold a handheld flashlight.

Lastly a plastic carabiner from Magpul holds a pair of Mechanix tactical gloves.

Better picture attached.

Just got my 350 Legend upper and custom mags from Wilson Combat. Now just need to decide on a scope for deer season. Leaning towards the Vortex Strike Eagle 1x6.

Consider to buy a Glock 45, any thoughts or experiences so far?

If it feels good in your hand I have been happy with every Glock I have owned (I did not like the 21 and sold it, but that felt too big for my hands). I currently am carrying a 29 myself. The 45 is an interesting concept, trying to minimize footprint with a shorter slide but maximize the capacity with the normal frame. I also have a 19 that I really enjoy shooting. If the price is right!

The Glock 45 is basically a G19X in black instead of tan. Both guns are basically G19 slides and barrels on G17 frames.

So, if you like shorter barrels on full-size frames, and you like Glocks, then the G45 and G19X should work well for you.

I own a 19X because I like the full size frame and balance of the gun. With the G19 I can't quite get my pinky finger to get a good grip unless I use a mag pinky rest. The pinky fingers play a vital role in achieving a good grip.

I own a G17.5MOS and enjoy shooting it. If I didn't already own a APX Centurion, I'd consider a G45 or 19. I'd suggest renting one at a range and see how it feels in your hand, it's quite subjective.

My personal best, I’m calling this a sub-1 inch group. This speaks very well for the Tikka, if an infrequent shooter such as myself can produce these results.

Tikka T3 Lite stainless in .30-06
Zeiss Terra 3X 4-12x42 set at 7x
Remington Core Lokt 150gr .30-06
100yds
Sand bag rest

Built a 7.5” 5.56 pistol for fun and decided to just move it to an SBR’d lower. Got my suppressor mount in so I just need to install it. Using a Sandman-K.

Not to be a legal jerk but isn't that a rifle stock on the right and make it a SBR vs a pistol? It looks like a Viper PDW stock. I don't agree with the law but SBR without a NFA stamp can be a felony in my state. Or did you already have form 1 on that build? Looks awesome.

His post says he took the 7.5" upper and put it on his "SBR'd lower", indicating that the lower has a stamp.

Badass build by the way. I bet that 7.5" upper generates some big fireballs!!

Yes. That lower was form 1’d a long time ago. I have four sbr’d ar15 lowers. Two 5.56s, one 300blk and one 6.5 Grendel.

This was the 7.5 when it was a pistol. Yes it was loud and obnoxious. I’ve got the Sandman-K on it now and will test it whenever we get some down time at work. Nice to have a range in the basement.

I actually don’t own any 16” 5.56 rifles (just sold my Tavor X95) so I will switch the flag lower over to a rifle stock and build a midlength gas 5.56.

Question for those who built their SBR. If I wanted to replace my brace for a stock on my 7.5" pistol, can I just do the NFA form at a FFL or does my pistol get turned in out of my possession until I get the stamp? I have a cqb stock I want to use but I guess that would turn my pistol into a sbr...I would hate to give it up while it's getting the approval.

Go here. E-File a form 1. Once you get your tax stamp you can throw the stock on it.

Reminder, an SBR is an NFA item and needs to be treated as one. You will be the only person allowed to fire it (unless you put it in a trust) and you must fill out paperwork if taken out of state for any reason.
