Bicycle in the back/boot pic?

Anyone with a pic of a bicycle stuffed into the back of the X1? I'm likely planning a hitch rack but I'm assuming a front-wheel-off mountain bike will fit easily with the seat backs down. Anyone?

Hi, haven't got a pic but a key requirement for me when buying the X1 was that my MTB can fit in with both wheels on. It is a standard carbon 26 inch hardtail and I confirm fits no problem.

29inch MTB would probably need the front wheel off, as the parcel shelf supports intrude a little.

Did this just last weekend with a full size MTB with front wheel on. Easy!

I'll get a photo next time I do. I reckon I couldn't fit two in tho.

That would be great to get a pic! I've got a 29er FS so it's a bit of a beast. No biggie in the front wheel has to come off but it would be awesome if it didn't. Helmet, shoes, etc. in the "spare tire" well and the bike up top. Looking forward to it.

Road bike in the back

New member here.
Don't have mountain bike but I do frequently carry a road bike in the back. Hope it helps.

Comments:

I'm 5ft 8", size my bike accordingly.
It fits very well inside the boot with the back seats down however I worry about the friction points. (durability of the carpet).

Would rather use a roof rack but the height of my garage prevents it.

This is how a 54cm road bike fits. I have a hitch rack but still waiting for invisihitch to be available. For now, this will have to do.

Awesome, thanks for the pic! I run 54cm road bikes and Med mountain bikes. I'll take a shot after I try and stuff a 29er in the boot with both wheels on.
