Bye bye new tire
I bought my car about 2 months ago and they had brand new RF on them from the dealer. Well last night while driving around I picked up a nail in the tire. It was close to the sidewall so I knew it was going to be iffy. Went to American Tire this morning and they plugged the tire, BUT the bead wouldn't seal with the rim. They did everything they could and could not get it to seal. They were stumped.
Well $280 for a new rear tire. I guess I get some 25% discount from Mchilein since the tire is new, had 9/10 left on it. So the tire was $320 installed. They are also letting me buy certificates for all the other tires since they are still new. That is $500 I would rather put towards rims and tires but that is life. |
