Personally, I would prefer this style center over the Super or Ultraleggera.

Stumbled upon them while searching for a more affordable alternative to lightweight BBS wheels. Also helps that it already comes in the exact color I wanted!

Great wheel! I just checked the BBS website and I don't see them. Exactly which style are these?

The weblink I posted say's "A TC Kline Racing exclusive" and I've not seen this wheel anywhere else either.

Now, someone enlighten me. For those wheels with less than stock offset, would say a 10-15mm spacer work? Or would this compromise steering geometry?

Inquiring minds want to know.

No, the spacer would only work for wheels that had TOO MUCH positive offset. So a wheel that is say, +38mm, has the outside rim closer to the fender outside edge. Now a wider wheel say 10" with +45 very likely would contact the INSIDE of the fender well or front strut--that's the setup that would require a spacer to move it out.

I lust after these wheels too.

Unfortunately at $1600 EACH, I won't be getting a set any time soon

I'd love to get a set of these in 17" for the track, but they only come 5x120 in 19"

Ok, so you're saying a min. offset might be 40mm plus? Or more? If so, that narrows the currently available choices.

Regarding the BBS above, I pulled this image off an asian website so I'm fairly confident that they do indeed exist.

Yes, I'm afraid 40 to 45mm offsets will be the most common for 1-series, although 38mm will most likey work if tire sizes aren't excessively large.
